You get a lot different pictures from CNN, BBC, Debka, and Venik etc. Debka thinks there are different prongs of US forces bypassing most Iraqi units and trying to cut off the highways so they are all encircled. While CNN would make you think that they are sweeping across the territory in a more broad way. Venik has heavy fighting still in towns that CNN reckons are now under US control e.g. Nasiriya. BBC somewhat less bullish than CNN and emphasizing civilian deaths/injuries very much... Difficult to know what the true situation is.
