Untrue.

I see your are reading and answering Carl. Good luck! I don't bother because he is still laboring under false premises. I am watching reports of our cleanout of the Medina/Baghdad divisions on CNN as I type. These cell phone/TV picture live reports are really outstanding.

Looks like we will finish this off without the 4th Infantry Division. They are just unloading in Kuwait, and are two weeks to a month away from Baghdad. We might get a Brigade in action.

I pretty much agree with everything you say except for one thing:

>>...will the rest of the world in the face of the horrifying list of atrocities which will be uncovered?<<

I no longer believe this is a strong or compelling argument, personally. For a good part of the world, I don't think it matters in the slightest what we might find. They are only selectively horrified.

Hi frankw1900; Re: "Us military folk are remarkable. Their training and doctrine are superb. Even if they had the same weapons, they would still defeat any Arab army due to the superior training and doctrine."

I agree, but the kill ratio would be a hell of a lot closer to unity.

Bilow, April 1, 2003
Our military strength is due only to our technology and that technology is useless in offense against enemy civilians.
...
That is, while our military is extremely good at engaging and defeating enemy militaries, we have absolutely no ability to engage, defeat or pacify enemy civilian populations.

We're going to find out when it comes to "civilain combattants" in Iraq.
...
Not demonstrated in the case of Iraq.

Knowing you're an idiot, I'm guessing that you will never admit that the Iraqi war was unwinnable. I'm looking forward to what you use as an explanation for why it is that we are unable to pacify the civilians.

Hey, you had a Republican administration in the White House. And Republican control over the Congress. So who are you going to blame it on this time?
