I don't think bin Laden anticipated the damage to Afghanistan, Iraq, or his own superstructure--let alone his own ass. If he did, he is even more evil than I thought.

Back to civilian shields. How would the world respond if the allies used Iraqis as human shields? That's obvious. Then why do they accept Iraqis using their own citizens as such? In past wars, the invaders did use civilians this way.
