It was the parts that you have not repeated in your reply to me that suggest that it would not be torture because it was "only" broken arms and legs, and the media would be using deception if they try to depict such actions as torture.

"All I said was that breaking arms and shooting someone is NOT torture...Or if Iraqis THOUGHT it was torture, they must be very dumb indeed...Or, and I thought this was obvious but maybe not, if US media think they can convince people that breaking arms & legs and shooting people (so they can die before they speak?) is "torture", than they must have a dim view of their audience."
