OK. I guess I was confused since you previously said "breaking arms and shooting someone is NOT torture..." I agree that in this instance, unless other facts come to light, the injuries are likely the result of combat /capture.

One other question for you. If a member of al Qaeda was found in US custody with similar injuries, and the Muslim press suggested torture, would you have been just as quick to point out that torture was not likely?
