I thought all soldiers fighting in a war were necessarily in "harms way"? I still don't understand the point of your comment:

My understanding is that most of the Iraqi soldiers are Muslims. It stands to reason that soldiers fighting in Iraq will be fighting against Muslims, doesn't it? So where does your confusion come from?

Do you believe that female soldiers should not fight Muslims? Or do you believe that all the soldiers in this particular engagement were poorly commanded and needlessly put in harms way?
