Everyone should look at a bright side to all of this. For example, environmentalists are always worried that Mr. Bush will ravage Alaska for oil. With Iraq, we have no need for Alaskan oil.

Therefore, the environmentalists should support a hard line on Iraq, demand war reparations, and support our taking of sufficient oil reserves to meet our needs. After all, the Iraqis shot their muskets at our tanks and grimaced at our troops. They even had the nerve to issue press releases without Ari Fleisher's approval.

Here you go. Hot off the fictional press. Mr. Bush, et al., are considering setting up a new military junta to rule Iraq while the remnants of the Iraqi "regime" will be ignored. The junta will refer to the remnants of the Iraqi "regime" as democrats.

Now, that is good politics.
