According to John Kerry, talking to just a few of us at a fundraiser, the Bushies and UK had this war planned back in August and we're going in no matter what. The UN moves were just for public consumption.

Could SARS be a genetically engineered virus used as bioweapon for a mild warning shot? As a small extension of Gus' first post on the subject, SARS can indeed be considered as a bioweapon. It is the lower end of wmd's range but has proven to be an effective and potent show of US weaponry capability to impact economic growths elsewhere in the globe. The greatest potency comes from combination of the engineered "NEW" virus combined with fear factor that's so effectively spread through the news media. That's a significant public perception ploy. The common flu virus has annual fatality rate of 30,000 people in the US. So far, SARS is mild in comparison but it does show no age preference of its victims. However, SARS fear is much greater than the much more well known common flu strains. I wonder why there has not been so little words from GW on this subject? The smallpox was a gargantuan effort that included a proposed nationwide vaccination. That was a public perception ploy to create public fear against terrorists using smallpox to attack US population. OR, did they think that smallpox vaccination would alleviate the worst effects of this genetically engineered SARS virus? That is, in case its effect and spread are much more lethal than anticipated? We will see how the now two strains of SARS mutates. i-sis.org
