Don't be stupid! My father fought in two wars and wears the scars of four purple hearts. I have fought in a war. I have lost friends, academy roommates, etc. I have a son one year away from West Point. There isn't an ounce of gloat in that comment. I say it with the reverence of one who has lost what is precious to me. Nobody hates war more than I do. But there will always be something I hate more and that is those who don't believe anything is worth fighting for. Is that you?
