You realize whenever you are fighting for something worth fighting for, there is a guy on the other side who is doing the same thing, and shooting at you. Right? Believing in something enough to kill for it is something even Hitler was able to do; believing in something very much and finding a peaceful solution is the challenge of humanity, and not something most people or countries can do.

Bear in mind I am not a pacifist, simply very cautious about war.

Did you actually read my post? You don't seem to answer any of the points in it.

And finishing with a jaunty "War is hell!" comment most certainly does not come over as any kind of reverence or respect.

BTW, I most certainly think some things are worth fighting for... the independence of my country ranks high amongst them.
But feel free to hate me anyway, because you clearly need no reason to hate and attack people you've never met and whose only "crime" is to defend - or just live in - a country being attacked by yours: and I think that's wrong.
