LA Times reports Iraq is 250 billion in debt, not including our war costs and post-war it will be in total shambles. And the more oil we pump to pay off those debts, the lower the price of oil will go so you're looking at the US tax-payers not getting any money back on this basically. this is where diplomacy could have saved us many tens of billions. And what a headache to manage, police and govern that place we have taken on. Kerry is right, the Bush approach to Iraq was costly and amateurish. The military however has done an excellent job. Our armed forces rock. And they have learned their lessons. Saddam folded like a paper tiger. Which also makes you wonder why he was supposed to be such a "threat" to the US. Hmm.
