You can say anything you want. But the fact is Beijing only has a dozen people got infected and 3 dead, and the city population is >11 million plus 3-4 million daily migrants, so there is no need to be panic. Shanghai got none. As for your claim of "cover-up"? it is simply a joke! It has been in newspaper since Janurary, go ask Chinese who read the newspaper, everyone knows it.

Yes, Guangdong should have taken it more seriously back in December. I guess no-experience is the major reason. And even if in Guangdong, it has been controlled.
