Yiwu Zhang,

Antibiotics controlling a virus??? If so, that would be a first. Perhaps there was an error in understanding or translation from Chinese to English. I could understand some antivirals exerting some degree of control, but not antibiotics. As the term implies, antibiotics are known to be effective only against bacteria. Stranger things have happened though, I suppose. The more important part of your post is that apparently there is something that might be effective in the control of SARS. Perhaps by combining two or more of the effective agents, the doctors and researchers can get a better than 99% response for future patients.
