Most things therefore done under a repub admin are in his book okay. I don't read him as much as I used to. He mostly quotes other folks all the time and adlibs on that, which I guess is okay, as most of us do the same. However he is an analyst, were not, and all in all I don't see that much original work from ole John. If you go back a long ways, per recollection, he harped on his muddle through or mud through approach for a long time. Others like Roach were in the mean time warning of deflation. Later on Sir John brought it up as well, like he had it in his scheme of possibilities all along. Afraid not. Sir John and his yack yack yack - like Zeev says he must get paid by the word. He telegraphs 3 short paragraphs of info into 3 frigging pages. I guess the one thing that irritated me more than anything was when he defended some of the Enron directors, such as the bright Wendy Gramm (Phil Gramm's wife) and other GW friends. It was about that time I decided I didn't need to read him so much. Not a one of those aholes are defensible - I wish GW would use as much energy going after those jerks as he is Saddam. America would be truly be a safer place, with those types of preditors eliminated. Maybe he will send them all off to administer to Irag, the ultimate punishment (for Irag). Was just browsing through my latest Time. Some time back C. Rice was having a meeting with 3 senators, discussing Saddam and Irag. GW sticks his head in the door and says "Fuck Saddam, we're gonna take him out." According to Time. Didn't know good ole GW talked like that, but I guess one has to remember he is from the oil patch in Texas. Repubs, Dems, ... and the preditory elite. I see the big Delta airlines CEO took a paycut. Screw em all. The salaries most of these CEO's are still making is criminal but legal all the same.
