How many wars has the US started pre-emptively? I can think of none.

What does THAT have to do with it? Assuming, arguendo, it was pre-emptive (which I don't believe), where is it written we can't pre-empt an attack on us. Would we have pre-emptively struck Japan had we known they were going to bomb Pearl Harbor. You're damned right we would.

This is just some BS the Left dreamed up; the president has an obligation to pre-empt any action he deems a threat.

The majority of the American People (normally, your gold standard) thought we had one.

The majority American people wanted the approval of the UN......aka the rest of the world.....they didn't get one

A majority would have preferred such support but a majority supports the action with or without it.

Its time for center stage to be wrestled back from the right.......you've had it way to long.

What since the last elections? Even now the right isn't firmly in control, more of a center right coalition.

Affirmative Action is hurting the white race and taking future jobs from our children bla bla bla......;

Affirmitive action is just wrong even if it was done for a good reason.

the UN is damaging our sovereignty and making us do bad things

The UN can't make us do anything we don't want. The claim from the right was more that the left was trying to change that fact.

if you don't agree with the president, you are a traitor and must be tried for sedition and then put in the bad jail and the key thrown away;

I agree that is a BS idea, but mentioning it is mostly a straw man. I haven't heard anyone make a statement exactly like that, and very few have made statements even vaguely like that.

owning guns is a good thing...

In many cases owning guns is a good thing, but not for all people in all situations.

They damn right have a say; they are our ally. Alliances, treaties.....adult documents that they young'uns among us have a hard time understanding.

They are sort of our ally but not much of one. They haven't been in the unified NATO command structure for decades.

Its not like France asks our permission to conduct their foreign policy initiatives and military deployments. I don't see why we should ask their permission for ours.
