The only way their news presentation could conceivably balance is is you had the Iraqi news on the other side of the scale. Fortunately, unlike the Iraqi's we still (as of yet) have the opportunity to change the channel.

Normally I don't read this board but just thought I'd reply with my 2 cents worth. I'm a born again christian, about as conservative as can be. However, the "fair and balanced" report on this Iraq situation has NOT come from the White House. This is a very sad situation and we are slaughtering tons of innocents (I include Iraqi soldiers who have no choice but to fight for Saddam or be killed anyway). You may want to listen to Scott Ritter (yeah I know about the allegations with the young females) from this speech in Nov 02. I'd suggest you listen carefully and listen to the Q&A that follows. All humans are prone to private interpretation and Ritter is no exception, but there's a lot of truth he speaks on, and we're not getting it from our leadership. I'm a person for truth and that's why I follow Jesus Christ. I also voted for Bush. However, this war is about a lie...and we've been lied to from the onset. This is not about Iraqi freedom. Believe me, that's very low on the list.
Even if Bush believes the unbelievable, the rest in the administration know exactly what's going on. With the exception of possibly Powell, the leadership in this country is a disgrace. Very sad!

Listen to Ritter with an open mind.
