I did answer your question. You just aren't reading it.

You don't get it. You think statically. There is NO SUCH static entity as "American". Or "Indian." Or "Japanese." Or "Bumfuckian." Change ALWAYS occurs "within your own culture." The introduction of the car in the US was no less a new and novel thing than in Bombay. You are thinking of culture as an unchanging, unadapting thing that just IS completely seperate from the "outside" and people get pissed when you drop a toaster and a Coke in front of them. There's nothing "unnatural" about an Indian girl listening to Britney Speers, no less "natural" than an American going to watch a foreign film, or an Italian Opera. There is no such thing as "natural Indian girl behavior."
