That's a pretty flippant attitude. But I guess it's to be expected.

And you shouldn't believe everything you read in the papers, because Al Gore never claimed to "invent" the internet. It's one of the many distortions of his statements perpetrated by the so-called "liberal" press (whose only bias I've ever noticed is a bias towards the story that's easiest to write.)

Tyrant dictator + lots of money = dangerous for others and bad life for the citizens of his country, so the dictator's gotta be eliminated. It's not that complicated.

So I guess while we're in the neighborhood we should take out the House of Saud as well?

"Tyrant dictator + lots of money = dangerous for others and bad life for the citizens of his country, so the dictator's gotta be eliminated. It's not that complicated. "

This is the standard litany, used throughout history, as a pretext for conflict.

Hitler wanted to "liberate the Poles" from tyranny,
Napoleon wanted to "liberate the Russians from Czarist dictators"
India still wants to "liberate Hindus from Muslim tyranny in Kashmir"
Irish Catholics want to "liberate Northern Ireland from Protestant tyranny"
Bin-Laden wanted to "liberate the Middle-East from Western tyranny"
The Ottomans wanted to "eliminate the tyranny of Christian Holy-Warriors from Armenia and Lebanon"

Fortunately for us, as citizens of the same planet Earth, this is not a good enough excuse anymore.
