Gottfried,

You'd win your bet! Temporary internet files I delete regularly... sometimes every hour or less depending on how many sites or pages I've visited. I understand what you're saying about the "other" temp files, but I also empty my trash regularly. Even if I backed-up those files to a CD or a floppy (you remember those), some programs I may not use for weeks. How do I know what temp file(s) to restore? Is there anyway to view those temporary files BEFORE I delete them... and can you delete them individually? I know some programs installation files are considered temporary and OK to delete, but which ones?

TIA,

Marty

P.S.: I think we're neighbors.
