David Re...I have no problem with protesting the policies; but once the forces are committed to war, it seems to me everyone ought to be focused on winning the war.

I don't think we have that right, to demand that we stop all political discourse, because there is a war going on. Yes, it is wrong for Ted to disparage the troops, because he is against the war, if that is what he did. Yes, it is wrong for protestors to block roads, and bases, and supplies for our troops. But, I don't think it is wrong for them to voice their opinion either way.

My irritation on this issue dates to last week, when ted, who "supports the troops", immediately jumped on them when those 7 women and children were inadvertently killed at a checkpoint. That isn't supporting the troops. That is supporting the regime of Saddam, by attacking our military for defending itself from Saddam's threat.
