We disagree. Also it's not valid due to 1-4 overlap. Even on a close only the overlap is still there. I think you are overlooking way to many inviolable rules. Especially wrt to compx. You would be stating that wave 2 can be more than 100% of wave one. You gotta throw in the towel on stuff sooner or later. Or at least be looking for a diagonal.

I remember another guy who overlooked the 2 can't be larger than one rule. His name was gem-x.

VXN and VIX are getting to levels I've been waiting for in order to go short again:

I guess it may be a reflection of the ranging behavior we've been having for months now, but the fact remains that the odds bet is going to have to be for increasing volatility, a break of the range, and return of trend. Elliot says the odds bet is for the prior trend to be reasserted after a period of ringing such as we've had.
