Lizzie, How could the people of Iraq rise up against a dictator as deeply entrenched as Saddam was? C'mon, think about it?!

Lizzie:

Our reason for going in was not for humanitarian reasons. This is a secondary reason which I agree with you completely that this reason is not a reason to go to war.

The primary reason is our adminsitrations belief that Sadamn and his sons would be willing to directly use or give to others weapons of mass distruction to terrorize the US or its interests.

There is no dispute Sadamn has supported terrorists against Israel.

The US has proof Iraq has been undermining US interests although this is not proff of intended terrorism against the US.

There will soon be proff of Sadamns WMD programs. The military first needs to secure their objective. Interviewing Iraqi citizens, engineers and sciencetists to lead them to the storage sites, while important is still secondary.

Now I can see why your swinging since you seem to be attacked by the extremests. Your entitled to your opinion and clearly are not a zealot like AS or RD who have just hated Bush and are against anything just because he proposes it.
