If u recollect, there was no resolution put to a vote.

I don't know how long the contract is for,

If u think this is 'contractual duties for which someone is being paid', I can never convince you that this is what they can do within constraints.

BTW, In your life, have you never disagreed with a friend of yours ? And in cases of disagreement, have you lost the friendship ? Same thing happens between countries.

I also wonder how much of the vote for Schroeder was from the old communist East Germany...and what the population of the old Eastern bloc versus the Western bloc of Germany is...?

U could keep wondering. fact is there is 1 Germany that elected Schroeder on his "no war" platform.
