Earlier reports mentioned resistance falling off immediately after the last attempt on Saddam...

We are going to be reading a lot of dire predictions here about how the Fedayeen, etc, are going to go to ground and "attrit" us. The best way to keep this from happening is to stay out of the Cities and let the Iraqis take over ASAP.

Leave and the remining hidden military ( what ? 300,000 ) infiltrate the institutions again and take over again?

I find it odd that this part of the War program is still being pieced together at this stage.
