Well, what do you think about the fact that we've spent so much money on defense over the past 50 years, like $10 Trillion, and couldn't even scramble a couple of planes to defend DC on 9/11? You're just like, whatever, who cares? I think any rational person would question WHY that was the case and demand that we do something to correct the situation. The U.S. military is deployed all over the world, but couldn't defend our own nation's capitol when it was under attack, that speaks volumes.
