Why are you posting political stuff on a thread we've asked to remain politics free?

Oldtimer's Disease getting your brain Cary?

ASML surpassed Canon and Nikon in the lithography market in 2002. ASML's market share jumped from 28.8 percent in 2001, to 54.3 percent in 2002, according to the San Jose-based research firm. Its sales in the sector went from $1.09 billion in 2001, to $1.53 billion in 2002.

How much of this gain was from buying SVGI? I find it interesting that there is no mention of this in the article. I'd like to see if the combined numbers show market share gain over the Japanese companies.

I like the corrected price here and am considering adding to one of your favorites to diversify some rather than putting more money into my current holdings. I don't have any "exposure" to leading litho companies so ASML would be a good choice to add coverage of the industry. I do worry about European labor laws and the fact most companies there are much nicer to workers than US companies who work everyone's butts off.

Do you have any price/valuation targets for ASML like you do AMAT where you will unwind your long positions?

thanks
Kirk
