Iraqi liberation is great but it's not why we're there. If they dont find Al Qaida or WMD's Bushies will pretend that's why they invaded all along, for liberation. In fact it's much less about liberation than oil, strategic positioning and domestic politics. Bush more than any prsident has needed war to distract us from our bigger problems. This was a justifiable but wholly optional war. It's also a very expensive war, especially since we have to foot 95% of the bill and Iraq is so deeply in debt.
