which tend to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal, have much higher income levels than the rest of the country do you not?

They also tend to have a much higher cost of living which normalizes the differences a bit.

Lizzie,

A liberal measuring right and wrong by it's financial impact should tell you something.

Really.

Steve

You changed the subject. What about that discussion we were having where you were claiming that Bush "started the war"?Are we done with that?

And what possible point could you be making to me about the CEO of the PSE? Honestly, I could not care less what he has to say about the war. Assuming he said something resembling your paraphrase, I'd have to know what the context was. I can extrapolate he may have been talking about the reward/risk ratio of an index or some part of an index as it relates to the overall trend in the U.S. equity markets, and I can also tell you that if you want to debate with me about the stock market or anything relating to it, that would be fine.

If you assert something and I point out a fallacy in your assertion, will you abandon the discussion and change the subject again?

Is my Alzheimer's kicking in again or did you tell me a while back you were a Republican?

This doesn't relate specifically to your last post, but to the general drift of your posts. I know certified liberals on SI who seem to be more to the right than you.

I'm just wondering if I need to find a new party because the Republicans have become the Democrats.
