But I don't think they do. I think iraq has so much oil, and so many large customers for it, that they don't care diddly about israel.

I think israel has an incentive to get oil without the effort of having to negotiate with arabs, even though their country is in the middle of the ME. And since the US- israels biggest ally, just invaded iraq well isn't that convenient! Israel wants to get this pipeline set up while they still can, when the US is still in iraq. That is the reason for the urgency.
