in my travels (mostly Asia), I didn't find that to be the case. And it clearly isn't the case in France. I didn't quite understand what you are referring to. That there is no pronounced alienation Muslim vs Christian/Jewish after 9/11? However, the one thing where we (the hawks) should take pause is to ask ourselves if we are also doing what OBL wants us to do I agree with you. It doesn't make much sense though, as the end result is not going to be to OBL's liking Depends on what his "liking" is. If he intended to rally Muslims for a Jihad, trying to put them in a situation where it looks like they have to fight the rest of the world, America in particular, he has made considerable progress over the course of the past year or so, I would say.
