<Don't you think that when the Hall of Fame sponsors an event, that they have some interest that the event ends up a Hall of Fame event, and is not hijacked into something else?

Suppose the Hall of Fame has a suspicion that it is likely that the event his organization sponsors will be hijacked into an anti-war rally. Is he obliged to provide platform for something like that? If he is obliged to do just that, where is his freedom of speech, freedom of speech of his organization?>

When you say the Hall of Fame it sounds eerily familiar to "Coalition of the Willing". This was a decision made by one man. Maybe they should have had a vote by those that are actually members of the hall as they are the ones actually represented there. If it was an independent business such as Snap-On Tools that would be different. If anything, the president should have objected and stepped down or just objected as it's obvious he has a public forum in which to espouse his views.
