>>Allen that's ok. You believe what you want.I didn't buy into Bill CLinton's war on Kosovo. We live in a democracy and the people in charge make the decisions based on the knowledge they have. 70 % of the people in the country believe that the administration is correct.
What you offer is an opinion that is based on no real knowledge. 9/11 started this. This hit on Saddam was a statement to the entire Arab Street. GET YOUR FANATICS UNDER CONTROL. It was also a statement to the rest of the world. We are not a bunch of P***** and we won't tolerate this jihad spreading

Like it or not Saddam was an integral part of the jihad movement.<<

Lumping all Arabs into one group and believing they share a single mindset leads to a complete misreading of the situation.

Islamists, particularly extremist Islamists, HATED Saddam Hussein, because he was a secularist. Osama Bin Laden, among many others, has often referred to him as an infidel. He said that the infidel governments of Arab countries like Iraq should be overthrown.

Hussein had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. His government had nothing to do with any islamic movement. He only used the term jihad when he wanted to encourage young men from other countries to come blow themselves up to keep him alive and in power.
