KG, may I respectfully suggest that you do some due diligence into KVHI, KVH Industries, and follow the board on SI. (And also on Yahoo, where the discussion is more frequent.) And do check out some of the links posted by Sector Investor in his thread summaries.

What growth stocks do I like?

I think tech is overpriced right now. What I mean is that they seem to be priced quite far into the future and assuming levels of "recovery" in business conditions that I think might be slower in coming than most people think.

For growth, I am investing in early stage private companies. After all, if one is going to risk having half of one's investment portfolio evaporate, it might as well be for a shot at 100:1 returns on the other half.

[Edit: I am not so greedy, I'll invest in companies that show a reasonable shot at getting 20:1 return, knowing that the majority won't get anywhere near this]
