Your opening statement on which you base your argument is a LIE.

I agree. If you had stated your view without using a lie about the other side to support your view I would have more respect for you. But you didn't.<<

First, in my opinion, the person to whom I had responded was making statements that indicated he might well be lumping Arabs and Arab countries together. His posts did not indicate, to me, an appreciation for the wide range of different viewpoints that exist within the Arab world, and that's why I said what I said. It IS a mistake to view all Arabs as having a single agenda, is it not?

I don't believe that my arguments rested solely on the conviction that he had categorically lumped all Arabs together. What I was doing was pointing out differences between Arab viewpoints. It's important to understand those differences if one wants to understand this situation.

This is a difference of opinion, not a question of a misstatement of facts. It seems as though you are only looking for an excuse to ignore viewpoints that contradict your own.
