Oh that's all we need: first Syria, then North Korea. Hell, why not invade Canada? After all they didn't side with us, so they must be against us.

It would be utterly insane to expand this to Syria. We made a bad enough gamble on trying to change Iraq for the better- but if we let this conflict expand, then the chance of a very negative outcome for the US becomes almost a certainty.

I feel like our leadership has gone insane. Of course I remember my mother telling me how SHE felt during the height of Vietnam. They thought Nixon had become unstable- and, of course, he pretty much had.
