Separate issues yes, but current US actions on them are equally indicative of the same overweening arrogance

As far as the trade dispute goes, all sorts of countries have trade disputes and argue other each others real and imagined subsidies or trade barriers, insisting the other country has to change them.

As far as invading Iraq well any invasion shows some degree of arrogance but it would be just as arrogant if France and Canada and Russia supported it. Its arrogance towards the regime in Iraq not towards the world. The action is against Iraq.

I don't think he's doing that so much as he is behaving in ways that causes some of the rest of the world to shake their fist at him.

I think you would have to look long and hard to find someone who did. I don't think you would find anyone in the current administration who supported invading Canada or even threatening an invasion or attack.

As for invading Syria or engaging in "perma-war" we shall see but I think your wrong about this.
