Hi Poet, Re: ""I'm horrified at the prospect of preemptive strikes against other countries" I thought you wholeheartedly supported the invasion of Iraq which was "sold" to us as a needed preemptive strike. But which I am far from convinced could even be remotely considered preemptive for our own security. Besides I DON'T believe in "preemptive war" a new buzz word, I heard on TV, which I consider an oxymoron. Because of the above, I assumed you would buy into the Syria next, because the reasons I heard in the last couple of days sounded dangerously similar to the Iraqi last reasons. then I assume a Iran scenario, then .... All the dominos as you mentioned.. Maybe I am mistaken with your views, I probably was, I hope so.. :) c
