Peter Arnett was fired by CNN for publishing the gas attack story without checking it out first.

The story was proven to be fictitious. CNN mindful of its reputation concluded that Arnett had been reckless and fired him.

You probably can find a link looking for the story on Arnett being fired recently by MSNBC. His recent firing by MSNBC caused the media to mention again why CNN had fired Arnett about four years ago.

Why is it that some people will always swallow a story when it is a big negative against the USA?

And why is it that those same people seem to be apologists for the bad things done by the USSR, Red China and Sadaam and his henchman?
