Hi John, I believe the Salmon Pak story was spiked by the major news media outlets. As you say, it did *eventually* receive some play, but, by and large it was not covered to a large degree. For instance, did Peter Jennings, Dan Rather or CNN run any stories on the site? Did they ask the tough questions of our political/military leaders related to the find?

Good point. But let me take it one step further. I assume that the networks you mention check stories for their reliability. It seems to me to make a charge of censorship one has to go through some sort of thought process (obviously, you cannot know the insides working of the networks) in which you ask yourself just how strong was the evidence that these stories were newsworthy, i.e, credible. I submit that was debatable. And thus the argument that the networks "censored" this info, is a bit strong, perhaps even wrong.

Unless you wish to argue that the networks should broadcast everything without some sort of credibility filters. I assume you don't wish to go to that extreme.
