"but, this is the same guy 'Rummy' shook hands with (in Iraq) when providing military support and weapons during the Iran/Iraq war.." I am sure of the first part. The latter may have some merit. Iran was clearly our enemy then & they were a regional threat as well as a direct threat to US citizens there as well. I'm not going to justify the political thinking at the time. I support the current actions of this administration regardless of the spin & other BS that gets passed off as fact though.
