everybody knows about Fox though, and after their iraq news coverage its common knowledge that Fox is not really news. They reported Saddam was dead on at least 6 separate occasions, its almost comical. At work when we are talking about war, people always qualify things they see on Fox... "I want to confirm this, I saw it on Fox". Fox also reported a bunch of WMD sites found and later tests showed it was just fertilizer or some such.

I just saw a report that Hardball was last in ratings. I know Matthews is an annoying guy, but I think he is probably one of the most balanced of all the commentators. I was surprised to see his rating so low. I guess people on either side watch they folks that say things agreeable to them?

Wrong. CNN is definitely less watched, more biased. Turner and Kaplan were frequent renters at the corrupt Clinton WH. Hume is from ABC. Hume left and joined the winning team when ABC hired Clintonista Stephanopoulos. ABC promptly lost its Sunday audience to everyone - anyone - else. Fox, with DirecTV, SkyNews et al, has CNN beat - only it will become much more apparent in the future. btw, Ailes also started MSNBC, but left to start Fox.
