Glad you found a cause. Something to really get your teeth into. Who said it was a cause? I regret deeply that antiquities were destroyed or looted. The equivalent would be the loss of Mt. Rushmore, the Liberty Bell, the Mona Lisa, whatever. They were part of a global heritage--nothing really to do with Iraq. They should have been protected. We're going to do something about getting them back. State Department spokesman Philip Reeker said the American people value the archaeological and cultural heritage of Iraq that document over 10,000 years of the development of civilization.
