Have they all been tried and convicted? And what about the war crimes court in the Hague? Or the World Court, which we don't recognize? Sounds like justice of the conqueror to me. Too much like what the Roman emperors did to defeated barbarian chiefs.

The US doesn't want the history to be written by the losers of the adventure.

Saddam and top level did a deal to go out free and safe. They will keep quiet. US troops look "invencible" and Hillbillies and rednecks are happy.

But some whom did not benefitted from the sweet deals, those may come out with the truth and the US doesn't want them to write and say what was all about.

Hence the chase of the guys who weren't part of the deal.
