after i read your explanation over and over i actually understood it....gg.....the brain doesn't work as quick as it use to. So the next question is this....can i somehow know what the ex-div date will be before it happens??

I assume the only way is to check the history and take an educated guess.

TIA

hey bob,

you still around???.....looks like it might be possible to buy nyl this quarter AFTER they declare, if it is good news, you would still have enough time to settle the trade before exdiv......does this make sense?????????????

TIA

p.s. don't forget lunch (if we ever get some decent weather we will be in south county for golf)
