well, the announcement will always include the record date, and most times the ex date - if the ex date isn't specified, then it's easy enough to figure out

however, anticipating the announcement date is something else, more like what you suggest in your note.

btw, we can't be too far away from each other if you'd like to get together sometime... I'm down in Charlestown myself

This list contains almost all the dividend declarations.

p.s. you are correct that most of the REITs are pretty regular about both the date they declare the dividend and the ex-dividend date. The 4th quarter is an exception for many of the REITs
