The only positive I can see, sentiment-wise, is a high number of puts below the market - i.e., 25 and below on the QQQ. That's supportive, but all the calls overhead (QQQ 26 and above) tells me there's not a lot of upside potential. We're stuck until one side or the other gives, I think.

Terry, do mutual fund cash levels nearly as low as at the mania peak in 2000 qualify as backing it up with the wallets? I don´t know if the data is accurate, but that´s what I read at least:
