When I was networking the computers and couldn't file share someone on this thread directed me to a networking site that troubleshooted (cant' remember what it was). It was at this site that mentioned that firewalls could cause a problem with the network and to try and disable it if you have one. After I disabled the BI the file sharing worked -that's how I found out! Your last line - not quite clear what you meant - ZoneAlarm does or doesn't interfere with file sharing? TIA
