I'm really wondering out loud why the Iraqi Oil Ministry got the first class protection from the very beginning?

Target selection has been carefully thought out to avoid damaging the country's infrastructure so that Iraq can get back on the road to recovery ASAP. Either their oil pays for the recovery or you and I do. I know my vote... :o)

A Librarian in Iraqi National library said on NPR this morning that those looters looked like very WELL trained, and organized. And it seems that they could identify almost all the important Iraqi historical sites/buildings/liberaries, and destroyed them. So my $2 million question is: who trained those people if they were trained?

And he also said for a people who have no more history would mean no future. So sad.
