Hi Sharp. Dollar punched down again and is close to 99

already.

quotes.ino.com

Gotta post fast to keep ahead of the tape.<g>

Any positives for stocks? Seasonally, this is a period where retirement accounts receive a lot of contributions that fund managers can put to work IF they choose to do so.

But in the larger negative context, that won't do much more than slow the decline via brief counter-trend bounces.

All just MVVHO, of course.

Sharp... an argument to the contrary would be that the ST bottom is in on the dollar-- the stochastic indicator is sitting in the oversold section of the ballpark and my bar graph is just touching the bottom Bollinger Band. I'd also like to point out that the oscillations between bull and bear have been getting shorter-- could we trend in the opposite direction overnight?

Despite the strength of the HUI, the CRB didn't look so shit hot-- grains, wheat and that 6% haircut WTIC took doesn't exactly spell the end of the USD.

Hey... that's my T/A on it...My F/A says that the White House could swing a deal with the Europeans in regards to Iraq. We could very well see some loans forgiven and some manpower added from the EU in regards to peace keeping. I believe that's what the market wants to see.
