Fibreglass body? ... i don't think so ... this was a '52 or '53 or so, there was no fibreglass then, plus one of the few things i recall of it was them doing bodywork, and it was metal [mostly this one was under a tarp] .... hmm, google should have hints .... could it have been something else, and designed by the designer of the Avanti? .. yes that idea is ringing bells, here's a Ray Loewy who worked for Studebaker - loc.gov

The things you learn from google - the Studebaker brothers started out making Conestoga wagons, made it big in the wagon business selling to the army in the 1860s, first called a vehicle a 'pickup' in 1913, in the 30s they made a car called the Dictator, [!], and their last cars were built in Ontario .... this may have been a Starlight or Starliner, don't think it was a Hawk because they started in '56 according to this - canadiandriver.com .... but that's strange because the name Avanti sticks, maybe just same designer, but this was an old car by the early 60s

Yeah what is up with the car stuff ..... well i am out of touch with the world of stocks, they just don't seem all that important recently .... this is largely seasonal, and has happened before ... more busy than usual this spring though, plus politics seems to dominate online time, sussing out who's shooting who today ... i shoulda got a programme at the gate

mae.to - Miramar has recovered half-way from its march bottom .... hmm, don't know what to do about that, book a little profit or what .... it has yet to get full benefit of the Amex listing imho, they traded off the power plant to cover reclamation obligations, Hope Bay is proceeding .... still, it hasn't been performing so well

cni.v - are you watching Canico? ... quite a chart, i think Claude has been recommending it ... but probably when it was a lot cheaper

qbx.v - must be a stealth bid alright, 1.7k traded all day -g- ... sure hasn't had much for news in the last year, outside of the halts and rescind halts -g- ... hard to say how to read management intentions there
